Maya Connors (*1985 in Freiburg, Germany) is an artist and filmmaker and lives in Hamburg, Germany where she graduated from the University of Fine Arts in 2015. Her artistic work is mainly rooted in the editing process, focusing on collage techniques in various formats. She has collaborated on several film projects as an editor and has taught film/and film editing at University of Europe Hamburg, Leuphana University Lüneburg, and the University of Applied Sciences Flensburg.  She is a founding member of VETO Film, a platform for experimental film and video art and has co-organized the experimental film festival, Odderader Filmtage, since 2012.
